Instructions on how to search the OPAC
In order to locate a document of the collection of the library click on Library Catalogue (OPAC) and then click on Main Catalogue. The interaction environment is either in Greek or English.
By completing the search form you can locate documents (book or audiovisual
material) which contain the keywords that you type in the relative fields
(author, title, subject, anywhere, module, etc.)
There is also the possibility to search using Boolean operators, and, or,
not which allows you to perform a combinative search. For example: Subject:
education and Subject: Greece. At the previous query, the subject of the
results you will be returned with will be both education and Greece.
By clicking on Search you will be shown the relative results of the document
and you will be informed about its availability.
Lastly, you may perform further search at the results returned, by clicking
on anything written in blue characters. For example: author, module,
subjects, editor).
Then, as long as you wish to borrow any of these documents, you fill in the
relative form available at the field of Rental Processes.
Dissertations Search
In order to view the total number of the dissertations per study program, you will have to type the word “Dissertations” at the field Module and then the code of that Study program, for example “dissertations ekp”. This search can be also performed using any other field, as long as you know the name of the author, the title, etc.
